Covid-19: Noida’s CMO and SDO Tests Positive

Noida: On Saturday, July 4, The two Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Gautam Buddh Nagar -Deepak Ohri and also Nepal Singh tested positive for COVID-19. The officials said CMO – Dr. Deepak Ohri tested positive for Covid-19 late on Friday night. Then He has been in Noida’s Fortis hospital. In April, he joined as the CMO of Noida. He is the third CMO, who also tested positive for Covid-19.

The Sub-divisional Magistrate (Sadar) – Prasoon Dwivedi and his wife also tested positive for Covid-19 on that day. After they admitted to Jaypee hospital. Now, Deputy Collector – Anand Srinet will be officiating as Sub-divisional Magistrate (SDO).

In the previous ten days, two Sub-divisional Magistrate (SDO) of Gautam Budh Nagar has tested positive. The District Magistrate – Suhas LY  said, “all officials are doing and are in isolation. Their office premises have been sanitized and also the officials they came in contact with are being tested”.

In the past week, The Chief Medical Officer (CMO), along with the district’s nodal officer for COVID, police commissioner, district magistrate, and also other senior officials conducted several inspections across the city, in additional to JJ Colony cluster two days ago.
