Why doesn’t iPad have a calculator?

All Apple sets such as iPhone, Apple Watch, and even macOS devices, iPods have a calculator app but why doesn’t iPad have a default calculator app? The senior vice president of software engineering at Apple – “Craig Federight”. They said that the calculator app was not included in the first iPad. Because Steve Jobs found it lame to upscale an iPhone’s application for iPad.

Craig also said that Apple hasn’t come up with a calculator app for iPads that would make people say “This is the greatest iPad calculator app”.

He explained – there’s something that we have not done because we would want to do something really distinctly great in that space. We want to do it when we can do it really, really well. And we honestly just haven’t gotten around to doing it great,

He also said “that day may come” when iPads will be shipped with a default calculator application. Apple is working on the greatest calculator app for iPads.
